.Mxolisi Ngwane is a South African artist who was born and raised in KwaZulu Natal. He lives with his wife and two children in Kwa Knyswa. Mxolisi is a self-taught artist that is inspired by nature and other artists’ work. His first medium was pencil work. He starting making art in Grade 8. He was inspired by a fellow pupil who was very talented and he encouraged him to get started. Mxolisi started drawing cartoons, inspired by the anime series dragon balls. He then started drawing celebrities.
After high school he made a series of animal sketches that were turned into prints and cards and started selling the commercially. He also painted murals at Embocraft. He started working at Woza Moya in 2018 where he worked in the upcycling department making flowers and art from waste, which includes accessories and decor fine art.
