Hlengiwe Dube – Zulu Motif 49.5cm Shallow Wire Bowl

This beautiful telephone wire bowl with its traditional Zulu motif was handwoven by master craftswoman Hlengiwe Dube.

The bowl is very shallow (almost flat) with a diameter is approximately 49.5cm.

Hlengiwe Dube is a multi award-winning master craftswoman who specialises in beadwork and wire baskets. She is actively involved in skills development and teaching crafters how to use their artist talents and their hands to earn a living.

She values her contribution to the preservation of African cultures, customs and traditions as well as giving people a better understanding of ubuntu.
